Accommodation for Families with children, facing health problems
«The Smile of the Child»
offers hospitality to families with children, who face serious health
problems.
The activity aims at offering hospitality to families, who reside outside
Athens and their children are hospitalized in Athens with chronic diseases
for a long time. Families are accommodated for as long as the treatment
demands and until the monitoring of the child from their physicians is
fulfilled.
Educators, Social Workers and Psychologists are standing by the family,
providing:
- psychological and social support
- reinforcement, ensuring emergency supplies and personal hygiene items.
- creative activities for Children
"The Smile of the Child" started this activity in 2012.
